Magmula nang isailalim sa Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) ang buong Luzon dahil sa Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID 19) noong March 17, 2020 sa bisa ng Proclamation No. 922 (Declaring a State of Public Health Emergency Throughout the Philippines), Proclamation No. 929 (Declaring a State of Calamity Throughout the Philippines) at Republic Act (RA) No. 11332 (Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act), sunod sunod na Office of the General Manager (OGM) Memoranda ang ipinalabas ng pamunuan ng CANORECO tungkol sa safety protocols para sa mga empleyado at miyembro-konsumidores nito.
Ang safety protocols na ito ay ang mga sumusunod:
Properly wear face masks at all times and remove the same only when eating/drinking
Accomplish a daily health journal
Have temperature checks
Practice physical distancing of at least one (1) meter
Wash hands frequently
Make sanitizers available for use
Emphasize the everyday actions to stay healthy (nutritious and well-cooked food, plenty fluids, adequate rest and at least eight (8) hours of sleep, and regular exercise, etc.)
Take foot dips
Avoid sharing respective items (pen, computer, gadget, etc.)
Limit transactions within the office to operations only.
Disclose important information through respective supervisors with due coordination with the Occupational Health Nurse
Para sa mga miyembro-konsumidores, kasama sa ipinalabas na Interim Guidelines on Workplace Prevention and Control of COVID-19 ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) at ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) noong April 30, 2020 ang Sample Protocol for Screening Employees and Visitors at ang Visitor’s Health Checklist. Pati na rin ang pagsusulat ng buong pangalan, address at contact number ng visitors sa guest logbook sakaling kailanganin sa contact tracing.
Para naman sa mga empleyado ng CANORECO, ang paglabag sa mga nasabing protocol ay may karampatang parusa base sa kasalukuyang Rules on Conduct and Ethics for Employees.
Inaasahan ng pamunuan ng CANORECO na sa pamamagitan ng mga ito ay sisikapin ng mga empleyado at mga miyembro-konsumidores ng kooperatiba ang mahigpit na pagsunod sa nasabing safety protocols, hindi lamang para sa kanilang mga sarili kundi para na rin sa kanilang mga pamilya.
